Psychological Consultation

I will meet with you (parent, carer, teacher, educator) in-person or on-line to talk and discuss what it is that is concerning you regarding your child/student. 

During this session I will use my psychological knowledge to enable you to have a deeper understanding of the concerns and to generate ways that you can further support your child/student, and things that they can do also.

We may also identify further involvement from me if that is necessary.

Psychological assessment

This option is if you, as a parent/carer/teacher/educator have concerns within a particular area, and an assessment of this would add to your understandings, and to those already working with your child/student. 

It may involve an observation of your child/student within their educational setting, or at home. 

It will involve a one-to-one session with your child/student where I use specific psychological assessment tools and materials. 

You may also be provided with a detailed psychological written report with clearly defined recommendations.  

£350.00 - £700.00

Psychological therapy and intervention

This involves me meeting with you (parent, carer, teacher or educator) for the first session where we will explore what your concerns are, and take time to explore the details that are contributing towards the concerns. 

We will then agree a set number of sessions where I will meet with your child and work with them therapeutically and confidentially to explore the areas identified.  The type of approach used will depend on what the concerns are and what the child's strengths are.

I will then meet again with you for an intervention planning session so that you can continue to make gains for your child based on our new knowledge.

First parent/teacher meeting - 1 hour |  £110.00  
Child therapeutic sessions 40minutes – 1 hour | £95.00

School session with a Psychologist

This option is if you are a setting/school/LA and you require an Educational Psychologist to undertake assessments and consultation to contribute towards a plan-do-review cycle of intervention and support. 

I offer consultation with staff, parents/carers, agencies, and with the child/young person. 

I also offer direct observation and assessment, and will supply an in-depth written report.

Court work

I complete developmental assessments to inform court proceedings.  These assessments include the child/young persons: developmental history; language and communication; cognition and play; emotional development; behavioural development; sensory development; independence and self-help; and a summative conclusion related to the areas of concern.  I will provide a detailed written report.
